We had one hypotrichosis 10 years ago. A purebred charolais born in February (cold climate), she lived until slaughter around 18 months later with a normal weight.

Looking good, should have a fine future.

On 120 cows to date we have 7 twins all alive. 2 are males twins, 3 are females twins, 1 couple is mixed and the last one is 1 male and the other is a bit of both! On 3 couples the second calf was breech. Our bigger year was 9 couples.

We have cold barns, all animals are in doors since 1 December and they will go out around may 25. The problem we have here is it can rain one day and the next  it's minus 25 degree Celsius with a lot of wind. It took a lot of chip wood, straw or sand but in calving time the working conditions...

Went I see big bones on a charolais bull especially the forward knees it's a sign for me that this bull will produce a heavier calf at birth. Maybe the club peoples want that for the look but in our purebred operation what we want is stabilise the birthweigt around 90- 100 lbs. The charolais...

It's the first year that we use it, seem to work. We give inforce after 3-4 days on the new born calves.

We have 9 Merit Roundup calves on the ground and they are loocking good. On mature purebred charolais cows the females birthweight  was 94 pounds and the males 97 pounds. The cows are calving indoors in a cold climate (Quebec, Canada) and have free choice hay. Our average calves  birthweight is...

We have a purebred charolais that gave us triplets the last 2 years. This year she lost the 3 males 3 weeks in advance. Last year we saved 2 females and the third female arrived dead. Three years ago we put an embryo in her so she have 3 calves alive in 3 calving season.

I'm sure you mean "double sens" like we say in french here in Quebec!
