I would reccomend a high fat liquid soy-based supplement like, Power Plus, Liquid Gold, Magic, Show Gold Plus, etc.  They are at least 80 to 99% fat, and will add cover in a desirable way.  There are many brands, as a lot of companys are manufacturing these products.

Yellowjacket (many grand slicks), Lifeline (many grand slicks), JWR (reserve grand Houston). HW (grand @ Houston), Alias (grand San Antonio), sure several others will work on functional cows.
