    Come small and grow fast, stylish steers or heifers, yak haired, will throw brockle face on them regardless of color of dam (Our experience)

    We have two daughters, one out of an angus cow the other a a Sooner cow, both have normal to below average udder size and both milk normal to above average. Each have had 2 calves by I-80 in March any where from 65-80 lbs. and weaned calves in September all weighed over 640, 1 heifer 3 bulls

    Thanks for the input, but If I wouldn't lay I a pen I wouldn't make my steers lay in it. Manure is picked every day and they are bedded down with shavings. One has an acre turnout that gets a little muddy on one end and of course that is where he lays.  He has minimal stains on his knees only...

    200 pounds should be very achievable in 90 days if kept on feed. Should be able to coast him right into the show.

    If people have a good year and corn is high... Or built a lot of houses as a general contractor... Made a lot of money as a market hedger... Why not buy your kids the best show animal you can and save yourself some taxes?
