I didn't respond with a dollar amount, because it seems to float with the animal and how good things are going that year!  I look back and laugh at the times when we rushed out and insured $500 pigs and now we buy a calf worth 10 times that and we don't.  It's all relative! (thumbsup)

I've seen EQ but not used in in this manner.  But, I'm confused.  You actually wash, then rinse, then wash again and let the stuff dry on the calf?  I would think you would have to wet them down again to work the hair.  Cant really start with flat dry hair.  Or can you????? 

I agree with Chambero.  Calving ease is over rated and dang sure over estimated!  Sometimes you have to pull a calf.  Doesn't mean much in the long term.  Most of those heifers go on to be good productive cows with no problem.  Can't think of any cows that we had to sell because of calving...
