There were a lot of good buys in the heifers. I was there for the sale from start to finish. The last I heard was wildcat creek had spent well over $650,000. I was lucky enough to buy a Baneberry cow, but some of the others I just couldn't compete with wildcat's huge checkbook.  I went looking...

We got about 7 inches.  There's water everywhere, roads closed, all that fun stuff.  We got lucky at our house and didn't have any problems.

We had a few chickens around our calves, we never had a problem with it.

I'll be headed up to Soo Line for their sale, and am really looking forward to it.  Hopefully I can get a couple bought.

Thanks everyone.  She is a Late March heifer (she looks smaller because my sister is 6 foot tall, ha ha.) and she is out of Six Mile Trump Tower.  We were very disappointed at the show we went to, no other Reds to show against. The judge had absolutely nothing bad to say about her in her class...

Just a little update on what I decided to do...  I flushed the cow to Northline Fat Tony and got 12 embryos out of her first flush (even though I screwed up and gave her her last shot about 12 hours too late) I'm very happy with that number, especially since the previous owners only got 4-6...
