I have an 03 dodge (5.9) and will never get rid of it. My dad just got rid of his and bought a 2012 dodge ram 2500 auto with 4wd (diesel). It seems to have a lot more power than mine and is super quite compared to my 5.9. He is getting bout 18 or 19 mpg empty and bout 13 or 14 pulling our 20ft...

Thanks got some friends to the family asking bout a book they can read. Does it cover everything from start to finish and is it easy to read for people who know nothing about cattle?

I am looking for a good book that covers raising cattle. Anybody read or know of a good book.

WA works really well on commercial cattle. Used him on several angus cross cows with good success. Never used BIM, so can't speak for him.

For your heifers I would go with SAV Brilliance for an angus, or Ebonys Grandmaster for Simmental. Also could use I-80 for the heifers or cows.

Are y'all talking about the company Discount Tires? If so I use Discount Tire as well. Have for years. Never had any problems and any problems have been fixed. they have most all brands and are cheaper.

This year I was too busy, so I paid somebody to do everything talked about above, this included housing and it was $75 a cow. This included semen and the actual AI'ing. Now I only AI'd 5 cows this way.

Haven't heard that, but that's crazy. Kinda hard for me to believe.  ???

I have doing a little research as well and BF Goodrich is what I was leaning towards. Had all terrains on there last time time and regretted buying them bc of how fast they wore down and how bad my mileage suffered.  Wanting something in between highway and all terrain. Let me know how they are...

We do get complacent. I got kicked in the face while clippping a calf. It knocked me out but luckily no other damage than a few stitches. Stay positive.
