We are showing a chance of rain for the next couple of days.....and I have been for anything we can get. Im a small time operation used to be 30 head, but now down to 10.  Our local sale barn is running 2000 plus head every week when they normally ran 1200 or less.

Ive heard alot of good things about thriller......might want to use again depending how she turns out  ;)

We got NO rain what so ever. I had to move cows the other day because wild fires were heading our way. Have some good friends that we had help bc the fires were actually on there place. Scary stuff!!!

I feel the same way. Judges need to keep a professional image, but there's nothing wrong with hanging around and give families their opinions.

Everything I heard/seen has been the same. I don't think people will stop showing, but maybe just feed 1 or 2 instead of 3 or 4. That's what we are doing.

Sorry to hear that. I am currently only running 15 mommas and have lost 2 calves this year so i feel your pain.  >:( >:(

Used to run about 50, but downsized to try to produce better quality. Only have 20 now

Like I have posted on here befroe, we are new to the pig showing. Have a few questions; how often do you worm your pigs (what kind does everybody use), is there any other vaccines that pigs need or any other suggetions? Also what kind of bedding does everybody think is better sand or shavings...

Stick with it if it what you LOVE to do!!!! Me as a father makes me think if I tell my girls enough how good of a job they do. Keep working hard and keep your head up and luck.
