I'm with you ladies....back-to-school means a little more sanity and peace in our house  (thumbsup).  However, later this week I'm sending one off to college for the first time so that could be a little more difficult.

I'd recommend giving the steer Probios (paste, boluses or granules) or Appetite Express every day for at least 3-5 days.  It sounds like his rumen might be out of whack.  Don't restrict the hay too much...he needs it for good rumen health.
