Is soaking the BP better than feeding it dry.  I have been feeding a scoop to our steer dry twice per day.  Is that about right?

If you have a buddy or know someone in the AC business they can convert it over in a jiffy for you.  What you have is a diesel / propane / or natural gas engine that drives a hermetic compressor (the cooling unit).  What you have to have them do is replace the drive engine with an electric motor...

You will need at least 3 tons of cooling to to get to those temperatures for that size of room.

Pump him with water...5 gallons = 40 lbs

FWIW..... 12,000 btu = 1 ton of cooling

Has anyone ever fed Corn Gluten to weaned calves (not for show)?  I was wondering what the results were and what kind of protein percentage that it has in it.

I really like the guy and he sells a lot of winners.  I will give him the benefit of the doubt because I know he is in Denver right now and is probably CRAZY busy.

Thank you so much for your input.  I agree that he needs to be ran up to about 1500 lbs.  After thinking it through that makes sense.  I am so glad this forum exists so that there is a place for peeps to turn for help.  FWIW....I tried contacting the breeder that sold me this animal and he hung...
