Well I'd like to make the potential calf a show calf prospect but in the end I want a animal that can perform in the field. We want to raise animals that can perform in the ring but go out to the pasture and raise us calves.

Just want to get some thoughts on what bull would you use one this heifer? She is Wide Range daughter out of a Upgrade cow. I feel she needs some softness and some drop to her lower 1/3 and clean up her shoulder a bit. Was thinking maybe Swinger or northern made 10D....or just use a low birth...

Let me say this I say extreme on the loose side for a charolais I'm saying 70lbs....to me that's small for your typical charolais when they are 90 to 100 alot of times.

Ok we have a few heifers that we are going to be breeding to a low birth weight Angus bull for thier first calf. Then on thier 2nd calf still use a low birth weight bull but maybe a step up on calf size then for thier third breeding we want to breed them to a extreme low birth weight charolais...

I know this bull isn't a big named show bull by any means but we got a cane of semen given to us by a really close family friend. So I couldn't turn it down. That being said what are your thoughts and opinions on him and what kind of progeny is he producing? We are planning to use him on a few...

Also since we plan on breeding her this December/January what bull would you guys recommend for this heifer? That could help clean up her weaknesses?

Awesome thanks you guys! We've been working hard with feeding them. We don't have the luxury of a cool room but we are in the process of building a stall to put them u der fans. It's hard in this mid ga heat to get them to eat like they need to.
