Actually yes once before.  One is a show heifer that didn't get bred last year and one is a show heifer that didn't stick AI last year and didn't get the opportunity to be with the bull.  I don't see any reason they won't breed.

Any recommendations on a smoke colored bull that could be used on a 3 yr old that will be having her first calf??

Well got him to start to nurse on the milk cow.  So I know he will suck.  He just doesn't quite have his legs under him yet but is doing good.  Tubed him with first dose of colostrum around 2:30pm so will go out before bed and see if he will eat a bottle with some more colostrum.  Then another...

What are the birthweights like on the Dirty Hairy 2 calves being born?  I have 2 hfrs (2009 models) that were shown last year and didn't get bred so I will be breeding them this spring for them to have their first calves as 3 yr olds next spring.  I was considering using DH2 on them?  Any thoughts?
