need help with a John Deere tractor

I would bet there are several of my neighbors that would pay money to see that!!!  Maybe we could do a 4-H fundraiser and sell tickets!!!!  If I thought there was any chance it would work I would try it, certainly a lot cheaper than buying parts with green paint on them.

need help with a John Deere tractor

The oil level is ok.  All functions are slow and smooth.  I was thinking it was a problem with the pipes that conect the charge pump in the transmission to the main pump as we have had promlems with them before, but the hydraulics usually chatter when that happens.  I was not aware there was a...

    Thanks for the Hospitality

Yesterday we had the opportunity to inspect some great cattle in southern Saskatchewan and most of all meet some great people!!  We got a tour of JIT's herd first and a very nice visit with Grant and Chris, then went down the road to the Hilltop herd for another tour and visit.  The family and I...

    ranch names

I agree with what has been said, make sure the name can not be considered offensive in any way. As well make sure it is catchy enough for people to remember it.  If you are selling any kind of show catle or breeding stock this can give you an advantage over other people.  We live in Elm Creek,MB...

    Ugly Cows

I know everyone has at least one cow in the herd that they hope the nieghbors never see but always has a fantastic calf.  Let's have some fun and post some pictures of them.  This is the ugliest cow I have ever owned and her bull calf sired by Shadybrook Scotty.

    Getting ready for the show

Thanks OH Breeder, we have finally got them on some dry ground, last week they were up to their bellies in mud.  We are working hard now to have them ready for July 7th.  As you can see the showgirls are pretty little so the main focus is making sure they will not explode no matter what happens...

    Getting ready for the show

These steers are both sired by Shadybrook Scotty, the black is out of a commercial angus cow and the tan os out of a charolais/ angus cow.  Both born in April 2010.  They currently weigh between 1000 and 1100 lbs.

More than 100 fires raging across Alberta

I sure wish we cold drain some of the water from Manitoba and Saskatchewan to help out in Alberta.  I agree with JIT that as bad as it is, everything we own is still there it just needs to dry out.  The folks in Alberta have lost everything with no warning.

    The Joy of Spring

Southern Manitoba is bad and getting worse.  The municipality where I live has been fighting water for over a week now and the levels are going up instead of down.  There are over 45 roads washed out in an area 12 x 24 miles.
