Hi!! So about 30 minutes ago my heifers that was 5 months bred aborted a beautiful little bull calf. Her discharge was pink and it has yellow chunks dripping down it!! I was thinking maybe infection!! I don't know why this happened and I am very upset about it  :'( The vet is coming out today...

Hi! I was wondering if fitter 52 is ok to feed to bred heifers? I want to feed it to one of mine but some of my friends questioned it because of the high protein!! I have it on hand and I don't want to go buy fitter 35 if I don't have to. I just want to make sure it's ok!! Thank you  ;D

Her bloodlines aren't to fancy or any thing popular! She is out of our homegrown purebred brangus herd sire, and the dam is a American cross cow that was given to us years ago when we first got into cattle!! I'm very excited that she is bred though!! Her mama also just had a bull calf...

Hey!! So we got the heifer bred!!!! We ultrasounded her today and the vet thinks it's a bull calf! We think she had low progesterone and the CIDR's helped! Thank you guys for your help  ;D ;D ;D <beer>
