Just wondering what type of cow he will work with ? I have a Shorthorn cow that breaks behind the shoulders a little would he help give the calves a better top ?

I just cut and rake mine and get it round baled.He charges me $ 9.00 a bale and it`s a new John Deere baler there is no way I will ever own and maintain a baler when I can get it done for that.

Has anyone used the sexed semen from Select Sires ? I am thinking about trying the Shorthorn Capiche and the Simmental Grandmaster just wondering if people were having any luck getting them to stick ?

Glad to hear he worked on a Radioactive because that is the sire of one of the cows I was thinking of using GM on.I also have a couple of appendix Shorthorns that have Meyer 734 on their sires side I may try Gm on. Thanks for the info.

Glad to hear that the price is reasonable I dont mind $50 but the $200-$250 stuff is just out of my reach right now.I feel that I need to produce more heifers because they dont show steers around here so I am going to have to change my plans just to have calves I  dont have to take sale barn...

They will probably show up on E bay or Craigslist in the near future if it wasn`t someone that shows cattle.There are probably alot of things on there that were obtained that way.

Looks like Tiger works pretty good of course in this case it looks like Mama is no slouch either. I would really like to see another picture in a month or two I bet he will really be stout looking by then.In this case it paid off taking a chance on a new bull.

Just wondering how the calves are looking out of these bulls pictures would be nice if anyone has time to post them.

Does anyone have any Tiger Woods calves yet ? I like the looks of the bull but I`m not crazy about the name but if the calves are good it won`t matter he will still get used.If anyone has any pictures of the calves that would be great.

I will probably try to stay pb Shorthorn or possibly Maine.I am not really interested in the Durham Reds but that is a good calving ease option.

After seeing the post below I really don`t want to stir the pot so to speak about JPJ but am curious as to what bull would you use on a JPJ heifer so as not to downsize any further?And please if you don`t have anything constructive to say then just leave it be.

Had one last month first calf heifer no problems.Pretty nice heifer calf too.
