68 pound HC Touchdown bull cf-1st calf hiefer AND EXPLOSIANS SISTER-gr-dam

We had 2 ET Touchdowns out of our HC Fairest Faye this spring and the heifer was 79 lbs and looks awesome now and I know will make one hell of a cow! The bull calf was ............68lbs. The little bugger sure has changed and for a 68lb baby has a heck of a top on him. Not sure but the bull calf...

What type of bird is this?

We have Hungarian Partridge in our neck of the woods. Your friend looks a touch smaller than the Hungs.  Never seen as many this winter with the above normal temps, but last winter we had a couple of flocks and about 50 pheasants that ripped the heck out of a bunch of straw bales. Since we...

    Question for Canadians

We do have a barn. We had a pole shed built in 2009. The shell was put up and we did all the work after that. It was built for calving which we start in later January, and as a show barn. It is 30x60 and we started by putting a wall down the middle. Half is for calving, and is not insulated but...

    Battle River Shorthorn sale results

I talked to JD and she told me the average but I have forgot already, 3600 or 3800. OMG I must be getting old! She did say the high seller was one of Crooked Post's bulls and possibly Lot 10 for about 7600 or 7800. The red Diamond bull brought 2200, and the roan out of our ACC General 4U brought...

birth weights (+/- 2.5 lbs per day)

This is a touch off topic but JTM has mentioned false EPD's. Sometimes you see adjusted BW. Is that anything to do with gestation time?

    Cow rejecting calf

We have had good luck having a dog sit by the pen. The first time was a 3yr old that didnt want her calf so my wife brought the big German Shepard Joey in. I thought it ws a waste of time but in 5 minutes she was licking and mothering up. Can't say it is a guarantee though. Now we have a big...

    Shorty hf bulls

I think that would be an excellent choice. We had 2 Touchdown calves last year, and 1 so far this year with 2 more to come in the next two weeks. They come smooth made and our 3 so far have been 81,82, and 84 lbs. We have thought a lot of the bull since he came to Agribition in 2007 as a calf...
