We had our first TH affected calf over the weekend.  It was not planed we thought that cow had stuck to her AI date but she must have come back and got bred to our clean up bull which is a sun seeker.  They sure are hairy.  I guess we will have to better manage our TH carrier cows and bulls.

We got whacked with  a pile of snow and rain again.  Some snow banks are 4 to 5 feet high.  We have lost one calf already and many more have the runs.  One cow that had a 5 day old calf just left it and we had to get it up and put her in the barn and get it sucking again.  We were with out power...

We will have to see how the clean up bull works the AI calves would have been first so the clean up calves are still to come. 

I am thinking of a name change from Clark Club Calves to Clark Heifer Calves.  Everything that I had bred clubby this year has had heifer calves.  I think I have at least 5 Highliner heifer now and the one bull I did get died.  I'm think the extra cost of sexed semen might be worth it.  I think...

We got about 15 inches on the level at Kipling Saskatchewan and 3 calves. In Melville We just have a about an 1 to 2 inches
