Will the Capons still have the comb and wattle characteristics of a normal rooster or do they appear more like a hen?

Here is a professional picture. He placed second in his class, he was just to green only 4 1/2 months old. Judge loved his lines and said he was super sound with great rib shape.

The angle of the picture makes it look like he's toeing out in person he's got all four straight ahead. He covers his tracks. We will be showing him in the San Antonio open show the 7th-10th of February.

This is a pb simmental bull calf out of Built Right. Asa reg. # 2806198. Let me know what you think good and bad. He was born in the middle of September.

Here is an updated photo of the bull at 18 months.

The calf is a purebred simmental out of built right. His 3/4 sibling was Grand Champion bull in San Antonio earlier this year.

Thanks for the replies, what do you think of the calf?  We will probably try separating them during the day and then at 3 months fully wean him.

We have a 2 month old bull calf we are trying to get ready for a show February 10th. When should we wean him he is already eating some feed. The cow has good milk and is in good condition.

Has anyone used combustible? If so what will he contribute to his offspring.

We are in Austin county 20 miles from the home of Blue Bell ice cream. In Brenham TX.

We have been feeding hay since July. There is nothing left. We usually get 35 to 40 in. Of rain per year. This year only 13 in. To date.

We have one 4ft diameter fan in a 12 by 20 building.  The fan is on one end wall with a 2 X 12 opening on the opposite wall and it is like a wind tunnel in there.

Correct,the folks who bought him will be making 3/4 blood simbrahs with him and he should help lower frame score

The calf is pb Simmental. He is out of a clean up bull that is a dream on son.
