Who provides the feed during the two weeks?

Wish we were, but my daughter will be at McPeak's Be A Champ show camp.  Stock Show University will be in Stillwater too.  Seems like everything is always the same weekend.

From time to time the hubs will ask if I want to go to town with him.  It's usually because he wants me to drive.  I quit falling for that one. (argue)

We feed the Purina Depth Charge and have been very pleased.

We've done that a couple of shows, when our steer was sore from having to be tied up and standing on hard shaving covered ground for a couple of days.

Big Boy will not go to a terminal show until the first of Oct.

We just bought a new Calico, that we had specked out.  20ft with 4ft tack/dressing room.  Extra wide door on tack room for showbox and ramps to get it in and out.  Enough room to haul 4 steers, or 2 steers and put the fans and other stuff in one section.  Tie outs inside and low on one outside...

We wash and blow dry, comb in mouse, dry, Kleen sheen, dry, and a little Final Bloom.  My daughter and I love Blow and Go because there is no breakdown after, lol.  A much less stressful day for our show team which consist of my daughter 15, my hubby and me, and sometimes our Ag teacher. <party>

While checking our irrigated soybeans last summer we went in one gate and out another.  Due to the extreme heat, we forgot to shut one gate and had about 50 head party all night.  They ate the beans and tore up the pipe.  Lesson learned the hard way.
