We would be open to something other than Maines. Our  goal is show heifers/replacements. She is not registered, but we want her calves to be!

thoughts on what to flush her to

We flushed her to Irish Whiskey last year and bred her back to Gigolo Joe.All were heifers and look really nice!! My only slight concern is they look a little tight gutted right now. (She throws out a high birth weight, so we're trying to keep this in mind also)

thoughts on what to flush her to

We will be breeding this donor next Friday for a flush. She is a Meyer son x commercial angus.  I initially planned on using I-80 or Dubai.(thoughts on these 2 bulls??)  We are looking for a bull that will add more guts and soften her up a bit. Our end result is making show heifers/replacements...

    Newborn with Buck Knees

We had a 120lb Irish Whiskey x sim-angus heifer calf born a few days ago.  Her legs have changed quite a bit since she was born. I also think  they just need time to stretch out a bit and get stronger.

    calving cameras frustration

We live 12 miles from the barn where are cattle are at. We need cameras that will stream live video over the internet for us to view on our computer at home. calving cameras question

We have been doing some research on putting up calving cameras this year. The problem we have is that we live roughly 12 miles away from the barn. We spoke to a company about security cameras and the cost was $1200 just for cameras, plus we'd have to run a phone line into the barn and purchase...

    gigelo joe

Does anyone have experience with this bull? If so, have you had any problems with high birth weights? From everything I've seen it sounds like he consistently throws average sized calves, nothing too extreme!
