She is not the prettiest cow, but she has the look of a brood cow that will flatout perform. If you ever send cattle to montana I would love to try a higher percentage shorthorn bull.

I like the Cow in the second picture. She is what I call the "kind". I bought some semen out of a black simmy bull called Rancher, I hope it works out for me,  and I bought some gauge Semen as that was all select sires carried for  shorthorn.

Just my thoughts. I am not very impressed with Renegade's weaning weight, but I don't what kind of ground he was weaned off of. Here in Montana I would say renegade is built as most great range covering bulls are, and it has been my experience that you can take them good range bulls put them on...

Thanks for the honest input. She seems to have this kind of calf regardless of what she is bred to. The calf would do pretty well here at our county fairs. I banded him and hopefully he turns into something .

He is actually out of a Maine cross cow.He has thickness and hair.

I am not a club calf producer but I purchased a cow that has some club calf genetics in her. She was turned out with a black angus bull and a black simmy bull not sure who the sire is but this is the calf.
