I would not call him a heifer bull.  When we bought semen and started breeding heifers to him his CE was 10 and by the time the calves were born it was 4.  They were not huge but we had to help a few of them.  Our calves seemed to have enough grow in them.

We've used several different clubby bulls on PB char cows.  We noticed that the higher % maine bulls usually give us more rattails along with any simmi in the background.  I won't mention any names but a popular PB Maine gave us the most rattails along with our 3/4 maine herd bulls.  Usually...

Freddy, We have used Carnac and Monopoly on Charolais cows and had better results with Monopoly.
