    I'll bite and do a little self promotion at the same time.  <party> Moto Moto will do many of the things you listed.  Full blood, maternally bred bull with lots of length, depth, rib, and muscling.  Low birth weight to boot. Pictured as a three year old.

    Thanks. We will have about 30 calves from Moto Moto natural service. I will try to post some pics of the claves born to clubby bred heifers and cows.  Everyone that I have talked to likes their Moto calves.  No calving issues that I know of.

    Nose rings

    I know the original question was in regards to steers having nose rings.  I am sure temperament and control are the main issue. As for bulls, most major shows require all bulls over one year of age to have a nose ring.  After putting snap in rings on a few times, most bulls become more annoyed...

    Club Calf Bull

    Go with a true 100% full blood British breed bull and straighten them out.  The right will give you sellable claves in either market, or keep the heifers for replacements.

    I don't know anything about the Red Angus bloodlines.  The females are owned by Chickadee Farms in Alberta. The Galloway bloodlines are Brass Ring Galloway out of Terry, MT.
