We got Moto Moto back from collection at Genex in Billings, MT.  He has been there since the end of August. Moto Moto will be on display in the AGBA display at the NWSS, as well as  in our pen in the YARDS.  Stop by and check him out.

Your guess would be correct.  That bull is HB Bravo 4714.  He is sired by Moto Moto out of a Pericles daughter.  He is a double bred Pericles that has been good since day one, 74lb BW.

Moto Moto will give you a thick, hairy, stout made soggy heifer calf or bull calf.  He has been working well on heifers.

We have done it both going up there and coming this way. The biggest hassle has always been coming into the US.  Most states have different regulations health and/or import rules, most border personnel do not have a clue about animal importation, and the egos/attitudes of our public service...

Librarian is the other animal you pictured a White Galloway cross? If so, then there is SH blood in it.  The White Galloway cattle had SH and or British White influence to achieve the color pattern.  That is why they are in a separate herdbook.  The cattle were selected for a color pattern...

What Galloway data are you looking at?  The ultrasound results the AGBA has taken at the NWSS are of cattle fed  very differently.  Some have had show feed for quite some time, and some are shown fairly green with little to no grain. The Galloway breed tends to work well on grass, with marbling...

This calf has more frame than most of the Pericles calves.  As with most Pericles offspring, they continue to belly down as they age. We never saw Pericles as a calf, so do not know how he looked. Moto Moto had more body too him at this age. We have a Pericles calf in our showstring this...
