Mojito daughters bred to Moto Moto- should be great calves. Here are a couple of pics of Moto Moto one at the 2014 NWSS and the other of Moto Moto slick sheared this summer after breeding 40 cows for 50 days.  Slicked him and took picture the day we pulled him out.

Good info JIT.  As I have stated before, that story is similar to the ones I have herd from Galloway breeders of the time.  The disposition of all the TH suspect Galloway cattle eliminated many good cattle.  The old Galloway semen still in storage has been tested clean, as have all Galloways...

I don't like giving antibiotics to cattle unless they need it.  The stress usually shuts the bacteria down in the guts, antibiotics compound that.  IMO We fed Hydro Lac supplement to the cattle 2-3 weeks ahead of travel.  The cattle drank at every opportunity they had.  Keeping them hydrated is...

Here is one bull calf and one heifer calf sired by Moto Moto. Both Pericles and Moto Moto sire calves that are long strided and fluid in their movement. You will want to keep every female out of these two.

They are eating it because it is something "NEW".    They also like to eat it if they are on a rich diet, which would include most show feed rations.  They buffer their system by eating straw. It will put a filled look on them.  You could give them access to some straw at home, then it won't be...
