I thought liveauctions.tv had the market steer show last year. Don't know about this year, though.

Our local news station has a story on their website and it says that gas is $1.97 down around Carthage. Where I live it's about $2.49. Don't you just love how it takes longer for the gas to go down than it does to go up?

The quality is usually good, you just have to know what to look for (like justme said). I know a breeder who is  bringing some really nice heifers. It's definitely worth going to!

We used Sin City on one of our smaller framed cows. He added some bone, frame, and lots of hair to her, really pretty steer. I'd use him again. The only thing is, he does have a little too much frame. He was a little bit heavy as far as birthweight goes, too.

Our county fair is the 2nd week in July and we would like a steer that weighs around 1300-1350 lbs.
