Here is a Highliner out of a purebred charolais cow that won the Regina spring steer show a few weeks back in Canada. Really nice steer - got the picture from the Charolais Banner website. Not mine but was down at the show - very nice looking steer.

Thanks LLBUX - thats the type of honest opinion I am looking for. 96 lbs doesnt scare me but I am sure it will scare some. I would hate to try to market a bull and then have everyone mad because he isnt an easy calver.

In 4-H an old timer told me to soak it with Coke - not Pepsi - straight Coke. I actually had a subborn patch on my arm from my steer and nothing the doctor gave me worked. But the Coke cleaned it up in a few days. So if all else fails give that a shot. Good luck its such a pain
