There not the best, but in comparison with my last year steer ( a feed lot specialty) they are something for me to be excited about. There not good pictures, but I havent had enough time to get good ones. They are slicked. The first is my biggest, a chi cross with maine. The next is parker, a...

My biggest steer is a sweet heart, and unlike my smaller one, he wont kick or anything. But when you go to take the other one off the trailer or go to walk him, He goes nuts! I have so many rope burns on my hands from trying to hold him back. He is a great calf, calm and all but I want to have...

    Advice

I know several kids that I show with that have told me that hard work with the hose and misters work just as well. We have a mister system and fans set up, im not too worried about growing hair. I am going to try a different approach to conditioning though.

Possible show steers for next year- what do you think?

Why yes they would! lol, would you perhaps be someone in charge of the sale? If so, I must say that these calves are quite nice! I can't judge calves worth a darn, and I like these three best. Hope you don't mind?

Possible show steers for next year- what do you think?

Were trying to spread our options out- these are from a sale not three miles from us, and I like the Carnac alot! The heatwave didn't impress me, and the Manchild is nice too. Here is the pic of the manchild from the side:
