Would a Promectin (spelling ?) product that can be sprayed on the animal work? Is it OK on hair? I know that I can get some of that around here. No stores that are close sell cydectin or taktic :(.

Ok that is another thing that I was not sure of is if i needed to give a second treatment. So Cydectin doesn't leave that harsh residue and drys out the skin like ivormectin or just not as bad?

Has anyone ever given ivomec injections to their cattle for lice and have it not work? ??? I am positive that I gave the corect dosage and this is the second time I have had this happen. I have used ivomec for lice before and it worked just fine and I always give my show animals the shots...

Ok thats what I thought, I dont remember how we got talking about that at his clinic but he was telling us about some of his steers that his son had in the past and he mentioned that one.

I knew Hairy Bear was a clone but I though he was a clone of one of Sterwalts steers. I attended one of his clinics a year ago and Im pretty sure that he said Hairy Bear was a clone of one of his steers that one Louisville or somethin. I could be wrong on that, maybe I just heard him wrong.

Yes here in Illinois we separated the horned shorthorns from the polleds. I think that it is really cool that we still do that and hopefully we wont stop, but the shorthorns dont show with intact horns. Ive always thought that it would be cool to show the shorthorn bulls with intact horns kinda...
