Let us know how the section goes.  We run 200 beef cows and usually have 1 unplanned section a year.  Havent lost any cows to it, most rebreed but are later than rest of herd.  Our main problem is keeping flys away from incision afterward.  You should have a good chance at a live calf, the ones...

Just had a heifer calf out of him about 2 weeks ago,  dam is a commericial black simm cross.  Calf all black, bigger than I expected around 90 pounds but cow didnt have any trouble.  Prob a bigger calf because we feed cow too much.  Very happy with how this heifer is looking so far and plan on...

What has your experience been using heifer synch protocols.  Any differance in success rates when using a heat detect  vs a fixed time AI protocol?

Mercedes Benz and Hard Core are what the maine heifers are out of.    Do Kadabra daughters make good replacements?

I have several open heifers that are high % Maine and a couple of heatwave daughters.  I'm looking for a Maine bull with calving ease and good maternal traits without giving up too much performance or frame.  Any thoughts are welcome!

Thanks for all the replies!  He just looks pretty light when next to our jet black Goldmine babies.  Our Club Kings are definately growing faster than the Goldmines tho.
