thanks for the input . I myself think a 10% protein ration is to low to continue the growth of a calf as frame as frame and muscle . so I will stick to my plan of a 12 to 13 percent with around 4% fat . my steer is a fall born and weighs about 700

what protein versus fat do you all feed?

ok I was looking at making a ration using grand 4t fyer but using at the suggested rate of 20% the protein is very high for what most around me feed as a finishing ration . but looking at the actual show chow feeds they are high aswell . others around me say to use a 10 to 11 percent protein...
