To me he patterns a lot like his sire but I have only seen 4508 in pictures and sometimes the “ in person” view can be different. His dam has become quite a good cow on the farm and actually just flushed a dozen grade 1 embryos last week to Stockman.
Here is a home raised 4 year old son of Kaper 4508. He was a first calf for JT Clipper 8Z and we have used him extensively on heifers. Very easy calving and has made attractive, hard working females. He has been a great heifer bull for us.

It’s good to get an idea which animals have a lasting influence rather than “ flavour of the month” cattle. Easy to track in registered cattle, if they are registered, “active” and producing registered calves then they can track production years simple enough.

I wouldn’t say he adds any more frame compared to the other ones here, we have used him on cows with moderate frame. We kept a full brother to the calf pictured for use in the commercials.
We have used him a couple years on some commercials. 1 calf off him this year. Definitely throws some power and muscle. Real good width in the loins and well shaped hind quarter. I would say bw can be up there and attitudes of the calves could be a bit better but as far as performance goes he’s...
I have an interesting crossbred it’s sire is a 70’s fullblood Italian Chianina named Ivory Lillo. I still have to double check with a DNA test as the cow was AI’d to two different bulls 12 hours apart but shape and color have me 90% sure.
KF your yesterday calf is a very eye appealing bull, he follows his dam with that as she was a very flashy calf herself. In person he showed great muscle expression for a young calf. I would say you will have a sought after bull when it comes time to sell him.

Thanks KF, I think she will mature out a fair size which is why I think a yesterday calf should compliment the genetics being a reasonably framed bull. Im betting with her genetics having some shorter gestation breeding she will be one of the early calvers. Her big test will be when she roughs...
Updated picture of the JT Titan 3T daughter JT Florence 6D she has progressed in my opinion very well. She was AI bred to Saskvalley Yesterday and pasture exposed to our Kaper 4508 son JT President 5A
Also from the same show a picture of a current yearling herdsire RT Diamond Cutter 49D who I...
You sure have a heck of a bull Cam, from seeing him in person he is the full package. From a non angus breeder I would say his highlights vs other angus bulls is that great head, loin shape and width, and correct large feet.

Cowboy_nyk it's only crazy if it doesn't turn out well!
I used an amp of a mid 70's fullblood imported Chi bull named Ivory Lillo on a real well producing stout Angus X Shorthorn cow. If it turns out well it could be worth using more of the chi amps to produce what I hope are hardworking cows in...
Two March yearling Shorthorn bulls . Top one is a Coalpit Creek son 77lb bw out of a first calf heifer. Second is a Cabrera son 102lb Bw from a proven Betsy cow. Both fed with hay and oats since weaning. What are your thoughts?
