You shouldn't haul cows right after breeding but she is far enough along where it would be safe to haul her.

I have had some good ones out of purebred Simmentals.  He will reduce frame so I wouldn't use him on small cows.

Temparment can vary with gentics but it is the very first thing I cull for.  Safety, enjoyment over winning is priority structure I follow.

My best Angus sired crossbred cows are out of OCC Legend and OCC Emblazon.  If would be hard to find semen on the these two but other bulls with OCC genetics should produce similar females.

My protocol is very similar except I give Lute on day 6 and remove CIDRs on day 7.  That seems to tighten up synchrony so more cows can work as recips.  I don't bred or use any cow as a recip if not observed in standing heat.
