I have a really nice Northern Improvement angus heifer that needs to be shown on the BEST circuit.  I also live in NW Ohio, about 35 miles SE of Toledo.

Here is a pic of the Paddy X Angus cows 2010 calf.  He is a Dirty Harry and was the first calf we sold out of the pasture in April this year.

He is a cripple get a new one.  Sorry to be blunt but I am seeing this way to much when people are buying baby calves,  they don't know enough about structure and flat cannot see problems.  If your steer is as bad as you say he is, he has been that way since he was born.  My advice, find someone...

I had 4 this year and I think he can really work.  Calves are stout stout stout, all plenty sound enough, But the one thing I need to have changed to use him more is the hair, they are just hairless.  I think the really pretty made hairy cows are definitely the ones for him.

Just breed them.  We have done this same protocall for 4 or 5 years now and we set them all up to breed at 60 days or later and usually in a group of 10 we only have anywhere from 2-7 show heat and we breed them all.  We always are at 68-70% first service.  It made me nervous the first few times...
