I like using the little pump up sprayers most farm stores sell for spraying chemicals. They hold about half gallon of liquid.  Then hold the nozzle in front of the blower and apply as much of your sheen you want.

I haven't seen the chart you are talking about but i have Dave Guyer's clipping video and watch it every fall just before i start on clipping.  He takes a yak and clips it to better than I will ever get one.  Well worth the investment if you want to learn. Then clip and clip often as you can...

We had a cow that came up open and was bred by the bull late one summer and decided to give her a lutyze shot and separated her.  If i remember right we gave the shot 5 days later and she calved on her due date to the bull and calf was fine. Sounds like mastitis.  Get with your vet and get her on antibiotics and keep given the calf milk replacer but he needs colostrum if he hasn't had any. Good luck.

Took a couple more pictures of the Bodacious steer.  He is different than anything I have ever raised. Not sure what he will turn into but he is already a pet. He is the first one to come up to you and loves being combed on!!

Hope it is too. Most of the time a calf will suck and just keep hammering once they start but I have seen it more than once one will just what I call snack just every little bit. Why they are this way I have no idea. And if that's what they are doing and the cow is a heavy milker you really cant...

I have a set of the andis light speeds and really like them not sure i have ever really had to have the lights on them though.  I recently got a set of the con air fx clippers. I really like how they balance in my hand but clipping with them causes my hand to go numb worse than the light speeds...
