There has been a lot of talk lately on pelvic measurements.  When do people normally do it? Weaning? Yearling?  What are acceptable measurements? At what point is to small and at what point is to big? 

Is now available through cattle visions for $50 a straw.

I just hope that a person buys him and distributes the semen through a company and not through shares.

In my opinion and experience from going to sales is that you are not getting a very good animal for that price. Look up the what you would do different post on here and it will give you some good info.

Is his semen for sale on the open market from a distributor or do you have to get it from one of the owners?

I don't have any but a buddy of mine bred his to Shiver and that is one of his better calves. I guess it all depends on whether or not you want to keep them maine or go another direction.

You got to remember that most of the sales have their cows gob fat for the sale.  This reduces their milking ability and they aren't use to be on grass without a steer stuffer.  I have never bought anything from Lazy H, but their cattle look real good in the pictures.  Just take that into...
