I believe the rule in Canada is that beginning in 2010, all calves that have carriers in their parents and/or grand-parents must have their calves tested and they must free of all defects to be allowed to be registered.

What's the latest on Bojo?  I searched here and found some postings from a while back.  I am pretty sure there aren't any calves on the ground yet, but if so, any info about them would be great.

Currently we have a pair of D cows which are 94 models, which are both on their way out when we wean their calves.  We've got a 95 cow that will be bred for late 2010, likely to WMW or Smokin' Joe.

Just wondering how dominant Alias is in throwing gray/smoke/white calves.  90% of our cows are black.  Does he throw many black ones?

A hair dryer works well to warm up a calf if you need to.  Add in an old blanket or sweater to keep the warmth.

I am looking at purchasing a video camera to use to promote sale cattle on youtube prior to our sale in the fall.  Any recommendations out there on what to get or not to get?  I assume that the youtube ready cameras are the way to go. Any opinions would be appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

We have had very good conception rates over the past 3 years, running 80-90 per cent each year.  We've used Stout and Grid Topper with good success rates, including split straws on Stout.  We only used 5 straws of each though.  Monopoly was 2 for 2 for us, although they aren't due until the end...
