    Red Angus in Denver

In Denver on any sale you watch, there will always be people that are leaving. Most of the time when semen comes around to selling the seats are empty. Not an uncommon occurrence.

    Boarding cows

yes when you take a persons calf to a sale and sell it for them, whether or not you have the buyers on the phone or bidding. you would usually charge a percentage of commission. it is just like putting your own calf on someone elses sale, the running rate is 30% of total sales.

What do you think of her?

I would say go ahead on the Trifecta. Already have a good heifer that was born in the spring that we bought from the original owners of Trifecta. she is a powerhouse and still holds enough look and style.

Open heifers were cheaper than I would have expected. Breds sold pretty evenly throughout. Did not catch average. Bred cows were pretty respectable as well.

    Steel Force VS. UPGRADE

You said she has back leg problems. Do NOT use Steel Force then, he can make the slightest bad legged animal astronomically worse. As for upgrade, have not seen enough calves to "wow" me

    top new sires calf crop

I dont think that BOJO can be left out of the mix. I have 3 of them that i have bought and it looks like the BOJO x Simmi cross is working really well! Monoply once again. I think One & Only and Thriller should have good calf crops this coming spring for the THF and PHAF bulls.
