our cows are on average pretty thick for baldies... is there any  other bulls you would recommend for softer made, easy fleshing baldies

we have been showing purebred cattle. I have been hearing of day weening calves off the cows for months prior to the shows so then they can eat grain throughout the day. How old should the calves be before you can take them off the cow for the day, and what is the best ways to start young calves...

We used phil lautners bull white boy last year on some cows and got pretty good results for a double clean.... he didn't throw much for hair but when it came to muscle, bone, style, and soundness he compares with the majority of carriers. He also throws some priity cool colors this is a picture...

But i live in canada so even if the air coditioners do shut off it doesnt get above 80

Me and my brothers show steers quite a bit up north and we have had quite a few steers that have don quite well. Usually our calves have great hairy that is soft and nice to work with. this year though one of our best steers has undesirable hair. it is long on his body but shorter on his legs...
