The place I was working at a couple years ago had bought about 30 bred black angus heifers that were bred speckle park. All the calves came really small and easy. All grew real well. One went to a 4H girl. Think it placed decently aswell. Cool colours anyways.

Up here we have snow for like 4 or 5 months a year and we put bedding out for everything. Usually the bulls will only get a smaller pile of wood chips. Gives them somewhere a little warmer to lay down when it's -10 all winter. The cows usually get fresh bedding once a week, more or less to keep...

Word on the street is S A V Bismark works really well on the Networth females. The heifer in the classifieds is one of those crosses and she is amazing in my opinion.

The way I would figure traveling costs would depend on.. If you need the work, then I would only add on the cost of travel, food, hotel ect. Just because if your not travelling you wouldn't be working anyways. So being paid for your time of travelling really isnt to fair. With that being said...

I would really like to see that whole blog Jeff, sounds like it is going to be a real heat getter. What I gather from all this high dollar "trading" is that the progeny from these animals are now going to be mass promoted as being the daughter/bull or of a $200,000 cow and so on and so forth...

Well it seems like there are alot of people on this site who are flushing cows and or buying and implanting embryo's. I was wondering what everyone's cost is per cow per flush. It seem's kind of pricey to implant 3 club calf embryo's at say 250 an egg with 1 calf being born. You would have to...
