Anyone else have one of these?  Ugly as sin but always breeds back right away and milks great.  She currently has a shorthorn Heatwave calf on her that is on our ad in the classifieds.  Her name is Lumpy and my kids can spot her from a mile away!

We will have our starting bids set this weekend and I will post them. The 2 Monopoly calves are end of March and the shorthorn Heatwave is an April 10th.

My 5 year old and 3 year old LOVE this show. We've got them all DVR'd and I'm sure we will be watching them all winter. Only downfall I can see is that every other word out of their mouths lately is "cattle". We don't have just cows anymore ;)

Situation

Here is a pic of our Reserve Champion Pen of 3 heifers in Denver this year.  They showed well and sold even better so we were very happy!  :)  We will have a pen of heifers very similar to these in Kearney this year at the Cattlemen's Classic.  I will post pics in the classifieds when we get...

We take a pen or two every year, there is usually some good ones, and some not so great ones. There will probably be quite a few for sale privately in the yards, so that might be another option.

The high selling calf in our private treaty sale went to a SteerPlanet member who saw him in the ad I posted.  Thanks SteerPlanet!

Bids end this Sunday, the 20th at dark, still plenty of time to check out these calves, approximately 30 head in our pasture and 20 right across the road.
