How long has it been since you wormed him? It is possible that he could have mange, a dose of cydectin will not harm you even if its not mange.

If it has no will to nurse I rub them vigorously with an old towel to get their blood flowing. Get a little milk in their throught and rub them again. Repeat.

It's starting to warm up in this neck of the woods, I just got done with chores and the sun was still up. I spent 10 minutes watching calves run around the barn enjoying life. It is a relaxing end to the day!

If your cows have some shape to them he will work just fine, I love the bull but not on every cow out there. If your cows are average I would use a bull like Macho or a Dream On son.

I have mostly 5 to 6 frame cows, and I want to keep it that way. I want calves that can show and feed easily. I know it's a fine line between the two but I think there has to be a bull out there that can do it.

I'm looking to buy semen on a red bull, not interested in the greatest epd bull. I was thinking more along the Northern Improvement type, depth, softness, bone and hair with good style to them. What's your thoughts?
