Let's say you were looking at a soft bodied sound easy fleshing heat seeker x Irish whiskey heifer, what would you prefer having her bred to, I-80 or sexed heifer trifecta?

I've never used the blood test or even been around it, but it sounds like a lot more hassle than having a vet check. How long does it take to get results back?

I do a three part preg check. I run 25 cows. I have my vet check the first group, which is usually 4-5 cows, as early as 28 days. After that I will do another group of about 10. I keep Breeding cows naturally untill April 10th calving then cyncronize the remaining cows and turn the bull out. 30...

I'm a red fan but the big thing to remember is service. Who is closest and who has the best service? Around here John Deere is king. We do have a few neighbors with blue tractors that say they aren't as reliable as a red or green one. Jmo

Better yet. Let's get really crazy and get a frame score on these bulls!  I don't think a tape measure will hurt your clipping hand if you hold it correctly.

My sons cow is named Biscuit Eater. Had a bag of those cheap crappy dog bones that my dogs wouldn't even consider eating. Not sure where the idea came from to offer her one, but she ate it right out of my hand!  We went through two bags of those things before it was time to send her to pasture.

I was kinda wondering the same. I like his breeding, that's an interesting cross. I was curious to see the frame sizes on them.

I love the term "moderate". If you raise 7 frames a 6 is moderate. If you raise 4 frame cattle a 3.5 is considered moderate. To me it's a way of saying "smaller than I usually offer"
