I talked to Todd back in April and they thought he might be a Yellow Jacket out of a Heat Wave cow.  But they didn't have any DNA results back yet. I'm not sure if they even collected him.  Todd said he looked damn good, but he was just running around his pasture at that time.

We had 4 Bojo calves this year.  The three heifers weighed 96, 80, and 76.  The bull weighed 108, but he is out of a Godfather cow that always has big calves.  All calves came unassisted and were vigorous at birth.  I would not use him on a heifer, but after that I think you would be fine. ...

This was our first year to exhibit at this show and we had a good time.  We had champion Charolais with our composite heifer, and 3rd in class with our Maine heifer.  I agree that the payouts were very generous.  Quality of cattle were very good. Nice show, we will be back next year.

I have two GVC Maverick's due on Mar 10 and Mar 13.  I will keep you posted when they come.
