They must have went on the Chi website and searched Walkie Talkie.  The pedigree they used matches a steer born in 2010 with the exact same name.  WAG didn't breed MLC's Walkie Talkie bull.

I have not used walks alone, but I have Bodacious.  The cows that you described is what I think he will work best on.  He added bone, body, muscle, hair and a good disposition for us.  You do need to breed him to a cow with a nice neck and smooth shoulder.  I wasn't going to used him last year...

Frostback is correct, it is a corn.  They can be very painfull and that is why she is moving slower.  We had a couple last year for the first time.  Not as big as that one, but we had a hoof trimmer out and he cut them out quite easily.

I bought a used blower from them 9 years ago.  Last year the, plug in shorted out.  Quick easy fix.  Other than changing filters, I haven't had to do anything else to it, and we use ours alot.  I would highly recommned buying a used blower from Sullivan.

If you have good corn stalk bales and feed them in a round bale feeder they will consume about 80% of them and the rest will be trash (mostly stalk shanks).  If you grind them and mix them with a wet feed like corn silage or wet distillers, they will consume a higher percentage of them. The...

This is my data on normal, live, single birth AI calvles at our place. 67 heifers calves average 282.4 days 53 bulls calves average 283.8 days The vast majority of them are Maine sired and/or out of Maine cows. -15 days was the earliest and +9 was the latest.

Out of 30 cows we get 0-2 calves a year out of the clean up bull.  We AI for 70 days, we ultrasound half way through and then again 5 days before we turn the bull out.  That way if somebody is open that should be AI'd we can Lute them and AI one last time, and we will do some fetal sexing at...

Bodacious - the cow needs bone muscle and hair.  Bodacious will do a really good job of adding those traits, plus he should maintain the color you are wanting.

Lifeline does carry a red gene and he can throw some color.

We had five I80 calves last year, all out of cows.  Based on 283 days gestation our cows went +1, +2, +5, 0, and +3.  Birth weights were 73, 83, 91, 65, and 86.  Hope this helps.

Lookout and Grizz are the only two bulls on your list that we have used.  Really like the Lookouts.  Grizz's were OK. How much is sexed Power 2 Change semen?
