I have been buying semen from Matt for the past 4 years.  The reason I keep buying semen from him is easy.  Customer Service, Customer Service, Customer Service.  I have never purchased semen from anyone who has helped me market my calves like Matt has.

I wasn't planning on using any new bulls this year, but when I saw him at Hawkeye, I was very impressed.  We purchased 5 units to try.  We will be using alot of Bojo, and seeing that his semen value is on the rise, we wanted to compare him to his best son and see if Bodacious will replace him.

I have one taz cow left and absolutely love her.  Had a couple others over the years.  Very deep bodied, easy fleshing, sound, great profile, lots of milk with great udders.  The two things you have to watch with Tazz is, he will take away some bone and thickness.

Drop down to 11 or 11.5 protein.  Excess protein can burn some fat.  5% fat should be enough, but if you want to add some more, do not add more than .25#. Scott

Freddy, What order did you put the semen in, in relation to standing heat?  All at the same time? Or were they at 12 hour intervals? or something else? Just curious if time of semen placement might have something to do with it.
