We had 2 last year.  86# Bull and 84# heifer (the heifer was out of a Heat Wave cow).  Both were 4 days early.  Here is a picture of the heifer.  We are expecting more this spring,  and will post pictures when we start calving.

She is a Double Vision and I think she is out of a who made who cow.  Greg Recknor owns her.

We had 4 of them, all out of mature cows, all unassisited with plenty of vigor.  The 3 heifers were 96, 76, and 80.  The bull was 118 (out of a Godfather cow that usually puts some birth weight on her calves).  I wouldn't use him on a 1st calf heifer, but wouldn't be afraid to use him on 2nd...

Try GVC Maverick.  In my oppinion he is the best Sooner son out there.  We are very pleased with his calves at our place.

I saw him turned out on cows last week, and he looked really good.  For a TH free bull he is very stout.  He is big boned, sound, and looked really good for a young bull cleaning up alot of cows in a big pasture.  He is a very dark smoke color.

Bojo will not downsize frame.  Heat wave or most of his sons will downsize.

What about Detour?  They advertised him as collecting well as a yearling.  I've seen some descent calves on the internet, but have not seen any in person.  Maybe somebody else on here has some more personal knowledge on Detour.

Getting back on topic, our GVC Maverick calves were absolute puppy dogs.  I know he is not a clubby bull, but if you are wanting a replacement heifer, I think he will cross very well with Angus to make good cows to cross with clubby bulls.
