well she calved to today, little bull calf about 60-70 pounds or so. not taking to the milk right away buut he had it once

my first heifer was supposed to calve on the 6th, still have nothing on the ground. when should we start to worry if we should?

thank you for all the help. im in SW michigan, we are going to the spring expo at MSU this weekend so its a little late to trim him now but plan to get it done for our fair

okay i didnt think there was anything that you could do but i wasnt sure. it is only my second year with showing steers so i didnt quite realize that toeing out as a calf would have that much as an impact when he becomes a fat steer. thanks!!

our fair is the first week in august and not quite sure what he ways right now. he is a may 17th and was 580 in early december. is there any suggestions besides getting his hooves trimmed to not neccesarly help this problem but make it easier for him?

i have been trying to post a picture of my steer to see what you guys think, and i have had troubles all day with it. any help would be appreciated thanks!!!

we have a holstein steer right now that does that, he has always done it. you can still see the paralumbar fossa but he looks like he is "pregnant".  during fair week we just cut him off on feed for a day and then put grain on top of his hay and that seemed to take down the pot gutteness. good...

im in need of a blower also, how much are you asking for it?

never use a brand new rope halter at weigh-ins, my heifer was flipping out and gave me real bad burns on my hands. life long scars
