Last years show heifer had an awesome smokey (she was an alias) that weighed 71 lbs.  You wouldn't have guessed it though.  The tiniest head I have ever seen on a calf!  Very vigrous for a clubby baby.  Two more due and day now.  Excited to see what he grows in to!

have seen mounts similar before, I have never investigated though.  Does anyone know if this is a mutation?  Just age?  Very interesting though!  It would be pretty cool to have one.

I like to sweat them 4-5 days before the show. 12 hours at a time.  I do not like the lotion, we do not use it.  You will see a difference within a couple of days.

Have you seen him on any Dream On females?  Love the white on the navel and flank.  I would think on a super stout Dream On female he would be a bull making machine. 

We have just about 40 ranch hand calves this year, used him last year as well.  Calves sent to slaughter were BIG!  1400-1500 LBS at 10 to 11 months.  They tend to be a bit rangy looking, which is ok if that's what you like in your Simmies.  Lots of leg, and not too heavy fronted.  Good luck. ...

We have used it on our pigs in the past.  It adds a ton of rib shape.  We use it along with power phat, the two together give them an awesome look.  We tried it on the calves, I like the effect of beet pulp better on them.
