Nice calf, I would use him as a steer. He looks like he will be competitive!! You can always breed the cow to another bull and possibly get something better, but bulls can be a pain in the rear to keep. I just had one plow through a 6' reinforced chain link fence to get into an empty pasture...

these are the calves i will be taking to our national show in texas next week!! the first heifer is a march 2008 calf, the second is an april 2007, the bull is a january 2008. the baby is a valentines 2009 baby!!

My Red Brangus heifer has an issue with chains on her show halter. I have tried everything to putting a halter with a chain on her and letting her wear it for a couple of weeks and I even vet wrapped the chain. When I work with her when she has the halter on, if she hears the chain she starts...
I actually don't have any pics of him but He was a pretty nice calf. Just recently sold him. He was black and has alot of bone, hair but he wasn't rangy looking. He was a very stout made thick calf, that could have been the Sin City in him though.
