    Thoughts on Simmental Females

What are your thoughts on this cow?  She is a Power Drive daughter, one of the first Power Drive's to be born off Triple C Farms.

    KCC Saginaw

You are right, I overlooked that when I made this post.  Let me know if you do see some calves out of him though! Thanks

    Best Simmental Bulls right now

In the numbers game Jump Start is a great bull.  I haven't seen progeny out of him so I can't speak much past what we see in pictures and on paper.  He is a clean fronted bull.  Only thing I would dock him on is he is a little light back through his flank.  He might be stouter than the pictures...

    Gold Mine and Ranch Hand

Mo Better spends his winter months about 20 miles from us, he is getting up there but still an outstanding pasture sire and certainly a great AI stud.  We bred some heifers to Mo and had great results, calves came easy to moderate frame heifers.  The grow good too. Haven't used RanchHand...

no one can know too much

I agree with Show Stopper.  Some calves are easy to get just right and some come with a little extra spirit that needs to be tamed more before you take them in the ring.  The more you work with her the better you will know how she walks and what shes gonna do when you stick her, etc.  Time your...

    BELT BUCKLE BELTS

I got a buckle and key chain made with our brand on it a few years ago at 3B Silversmiths in MO.  I like it a lot.  Their website is http://www.3bsilversmiths.com.  Their email and phone number is : [email protected]        Ph: 660-749-5675 They did a great job for me.  I drew out...

    Small Clippers

Our small clippers are UltraEdge.  They are great.  I didn't buy the light because we use standup lights beside the chute when we fit.  I have a few sets of blades for those clippers and I highly recommend them.  A few days ago there was someone on here that had two sets of Andis small...

    Grandmaster question ?

Good point.  His numbers were high enough that they aren't bad now, but his progeny that had low numbers on their dams side and were bred to him for numbers will probably take a hit.

    Donor Quistion

I'd be interested to know as well.  We have an older cow that we are considering flushing in the Spring.  She is a power house of a cow, and has great calves.  We had someone who has some interest in calves out of her to so we thought we would flush her before she got way on up there. I have...

    Grandmaster question ?

The calves I have seen out of Grandmaster have been very nice.  I saw some sell in Hill Country's sale back in the Spring and some sell in the Field of Dreams sale this Fall.  They all looked great and sold well also.  Even though his numbers did come down in the last ASA Sire Summary I think...

    KCC Saginaw

Does anyone have any calves out of the SimAngus bull KCC Saginaw? We are considering flushing him to a Simmental donor of ours.

    Chromed up donor cows

I agree.  Those females I mentioned are working great, but there are some pedigrees that throw too much chrome that doesn't help them after they age out of the show ring.

    Chromed up donor cows

There are some blaze and bald face donors out there now and more on the way.  A lot of these young heifers you see out there just need time to be proven.  Jones Show Cattle in OH have some nice baldy donors that are starting to roll out some really fancy progeny.  Guyer in IN, Sunset View Farms...
